Mid Century Mania!

September 12, 2019

It is not often we get to explore a home quite like this one! Mid century modern style is back and this home is exactly THAT! We got to check this place out with the listing agents Amanda Freed and Rick Kane from Westhills Realtors, and we are so glad they called us up!

This home has the same owners since the 60's who have lovingly cared for it all those years. There has been many memories in this home, and it is ready for new ones to be added to the collection. Some of our favorite parts about this home are the BUILT INS!! The owner was a little woodworker in his downtime and built and installed built ins in EVERY room of the house! While he was in the woodshed, his wife was outside in the gardens making them look like they should be straight out of an English garden magazine! Little pathways, raised beds, mature landscaping, and large trees perfect for a tire swing surround the yard. Also, Westwood Hills school is DIRECTLY behind the property with a play set and newly painted blacktop by another Westhills realtor, Katherine McNicholas.

This home is HUGE! There is a room for every member of the family and some kind of storage room to match it! We were so impressed by the bones of this home, and know that another family will find this place to be just as special as the previous owners.

Check out the full listing HERE, and the pictures from the session below. Welcome home!
