Historic Villages of Staunton!

We got so excited when Gail Finnegan from Long and Foster contacted us about this project. She has a HISTORIC listing, folks! As many of you may not know, the Villages of Staunton were once the administration of what was then Western Lunatic Asylum and was designed by master builder and Thomas Jefferson protégé Thomas Blackburn in 1828 (link HERE for more info).

This is our favorite kind of property...one with a story! As we walked through the grounds, you could feel a sense of history and imagine the characters that at one time called this place home. Many changes have been made to update this property but they still kept the original wood work and pine floors, floor to ceiling windows, enchanting stairwells, and much more.

It was an honor to explore this property on my birthday and I know someone is going to love this and call it HOME!

Check out the pictures from the session below, and let us know when you are ready to book your session...
